Automatic Number Plate Recognition
Service Overview
Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) is the system that, in real time, analyzes license plates and obtains important information about the vehicle. By integrating the system with police databases, it helps verify the insurance status and environmental class of vehicles for entry into specific urban areas. It supports white and black list management.
The system sends immediate notifications for events detected by the sensors.
License plate recognition is also useful for access control in areas and for monitoring travel times in the city.
License plate recognition events can be monitored through live video streaming or recorded videos.
ANPR makes it possible to identify those responsible for traffic infringements, in the case of illegal parking or accidents, by enabling recognition of vehicle license plates in areas of up to two roadways defined in the SmartEye Configurator software.
The ANPR module provides efficient, fast and reliable data to strengthen competent bodies in their enforcement operations.
